- Proper equipment for the room. Talent without the right sound — and, where relevant, lighting — setup for your venue’s size will underdeliver no matter how good the DJ is individually.
- Clarity on price and what’s included. Confirm what’s covered (equipment, lighting, hours, any emcee duties) against your budget before booking, so there are no surprises on the day.
